1920s 30s French Costume Pink Black Bodice Skirt Theatre Cotton

1920s-30s French two piece costume. Comprising of a puff sleeve boned bodice and a long skirt with triangular overhanging panels. Such a lovely costume in lightweight pink and black twill cotton. The skirt has an inner layer of lace at the bottom. Skirt fastens with a metal hook and eye. The bodice fastens up the back with metal hook and eyes. 

Boffice measures: 15” underarm to underarm, 22” waist 14” shoulders

Skirt measures: 23” waist, 34” long

Condition: freshly laundered. The skirt has quite a few scattered stains across : these are fairly light in colour and don’t show too much. The sleeve of the bodice also has a light mark as shown. Some of the black tulle at the bottom of the skirt has come unstitched and just needs a few stitches.
