1920s French Brown Cotton Short Jacket Silver Metal Buttons Open Front Opera Theatre

1920s French jacket made for opera costume. Lovely soft cotton fabric. Open front style with large 19th century silver metal embossed buttons which are purely decorative. Pockets are also false. Lined in cotton. Aristide Boyer, Marseille costumier stamp in the long.

Measurements taken when flat: 19”  underarm to underarm, 18” across the shoulders, 8 1/2” arm opening at the shoulder, 23” sleeves, 20” long from neck to hem

Overall condition is great. Freshly laundered. Small signs of slight wear to the surface. Fraying around the neck.
