1920s French Green Cotton Ribbed Short Jacket Silver Métal Buttons Open Front Theatre Opera Costume

1920s French jacket made for opera costume. Lovely green ribbed cotton fabric which is nice and durable. Open front style with large silver metal embossed buttons which are purely decorative. Pockets are also false. Lined in cotton. Shoulder padding. Really great cut and shape.

Measurements taken when flat: 22” underarm to underarm, 18” across the shoulders, 9” arm opening at the shoulder, 21 1/2” sleeves, 18” long at the back from neck to hem.

Overall condition is great. Freshly laundered. There is a rust like stain on the back as shown. Character name is written in the lining but scribbled out.
