1920s French Red and Black Striped workwear jacket servant cinch back vest sleeves wool cotton

1920s French servant's/ waiters jacket. Red and black vertical stripe fine wool vest section with black sleeves and backing. The underarms are made to be open. Cotton lining.

Measures: 18 1/2" underarm to underarm, 16" shoulders, 22" long in the body, 21” sleeves

Condition: very good I overall. Freshly laundered. The buckle is missing at the back. there are two tiny areas where is seam has come loose a bit as shown. some darned repairs in the cotton lining and colour bleeding in the lining too.
