A traditional handsewn linen shirt from Transylvania, dating from the 1930s–1940s. Made from soft, medium-weight handwoven linen with a natural slubbed texture. The front is finished with neat pintuck pleats and fastens with cobalt blue pressed glass buttons. Cuffs and hem are edged with hand-stitched cutwork embroidery and scalloped borders.
Freshly laundered and in great condition. A few small imperfections in the weave are visible — typical of handmade linen from this region and time.
