1930s Hungarian Linen Folk Shirt Green Glass Buttons Purple Embroidery Eastern European pleats

1930s Hungarian linen folk shirt. Natural homespun linen. Green glass buttons down the front and one blue. Pleated detail and down the front. Purple geometric motif ribbon trim. Colourful embroidery on the lower placket. Green glass buttons on the cuffs. Pleats on the shoulders, cuffs and the back of the neck. Very durable and built to last. This washes and wears very easily.

Size: please check the measurements and note the collar is particularly small

Measures: 19” underarm to underarm, 20” across the shoulders, 8 1/2” from shoulder to underarm, 18 3/4" sleeves, 26” long in the body, 11 1/2” collar

Great condition overall. Freshly laundered. There is a very small hole on the upper right of the chest: this hardly notices in my opinion. There are some marks across the back which did not remove in the wash. Again they don’t notice too much but it’s not perfect.
