1930s Transylvanian Folk Shirt Woven Linen Eastern European Romanian Hungarian Glass Buttons Cutwork

1930s Transylvanian folk shirt. Beautiful fabric which is homespun natural linen. Iridescent peachy glass buttons. Cutwork detail. Pleat detail at the shoulders, neck and cuffs. Crochet hem.

The size of this style of shirt is largely directed by the shoulder to underarm and neck measurements. These can be small so please check for a good fit.

Measurements taken when flat: 21” underarm to underarm, 9” arm opening from shoulder to underarm, 14 1/4” shoulders, 14” collar, 22” long in the body

Great condition. Freshly laundered. Two holes as shown in the left arm - just need some stitches. One button is chipped I half on the front.
