1940s Transylvanian Cream Curly Sheep’s Wool Folk Coat Jacket Velvet Trim Traditional Clothing

Amazing c.1940s Transylvanian cream curly sheep’s wool coat. Traditional style from the Carpathian mountains areas. Two front pockets. Velvet decorative trim. No closures. Floral lining to the edging inside.

Found on my travels. A wonderful piece to wear and treasure. 

Measures: 22” underarm to underarm, 17 1/2” shoulders, 25” sleeves, 29” long from neck to hem.

Great condition overall. This has been freshly laundered on a cold wool machine wash. One area of thinning at the top of the right sleeves as shown in the video. Two small areas of the velvet trim missing on the lower front as shown.
