1920s French lightweight wool tailcoat jacket

Circa 1920s French lightweight wool tailcoat jacket of exceptional cut and tailoring. Finely made with silk-covered buttons and full lining. The sleeves are lined in striped silk. Two front flap pockets at the hips, one diagonal breast pocket, and a small slit pocket beside the lower right one. Inside are two lined inner breast pockets. A beautifully constructed piece with refined tailoring details and elegant proportion.

Condition

Dry cleaned and in very good overall condition. Small areas of damage including a tear and small hole at the edge of the right cuff, thinning and tears to the sleeve linings, a small hole at the top right shoulder, and another hole near the back button on the left.
