Antique French Black Silk Spotty Velvet Vest Waistcoat Early 1900s

Beautiful early 1900s French black silk velvet waistcoat with small white spots. Metal buckle cinch back. Three front pockets. All hand stitched.

Although this seems a definite black to my eye there are some midnight blue tones coming though in certain light.

Measures: 19” underarm to underarm, 13” shoulders, 17”  across the waist , 22” long

Great condition. Just some damage and discolouration to the backing. Slight wear to the silk bottom edge.
