Antique 19th century French Hooded Cape Provençal Traditional Clothing

Antique 19th century French hooded cape. This is a piece of traditional clothing from the Provençal region. A deep hood with gathered pleats. ruched detail around the shoulders. Really lovely sun fade. Fastens at the front with metal hook and eyes.

Measurements: 40 1/2” long from neck to hem, 18” across the shoulders

Condition: good overall. Natural sun fade. Some holes as shown which could do with darning.
