Antique C.1910s French theatre costume breeches Brown blue stripe metal ribbon trim pants

Antique early 1900s, French theatre costume breaches. Nice toffee brown plain weave cotton with blue wool stripe panels down the size of each leg. A double striped panel of metallic gold and red thread ribbon further decorates each leg. Large decorative buttons. Metal button fly and metal buttons around the waist for suspenders or braces. Buckle back to adjust the size of the waist. Cotton lined.

Measurements: 26 inch to 31 inch waist, 14 1/2 inch rise, 16 inch inseam.

Condition: overall, very good freshly laundered. There is a small snag on the top left at the front. There are two decorative button missing down the sides. There are some darker marks on the back as shown.
