Antique early 1900s French Theatre Costume Trousers Pants Teal Blue Silk Cotton Gold Metal Ribbon Trim

Antique early 1900s French theatre costume trousers. Teal fabric which feels like a silk/cotton blend with wide bands of gold metal ribbon trim at the ankles. Cotton lined with the stamps from the theatre costumier. Button fly. Fasten with metal hook and eyes at the ankles.

Measurements: 35” waist but can tie in smaller with cotton ties at the back. 13 1/2” rise, 23” inseam, 36” full length.

Condition: freshly laundered. There are many small rust like marks and a large darker blue stain discolouration on the back of the right leg.
