Antique Early 1900s Pink Opera Theatre Jacket Cotton Frock Coat

Antique early 1900s French costume jacket. Made by Aristide Boyer, Marseille. Pink cotton with a grey lining. Very lovely 19th century ring back metal buttons with a pink tint. Pockets are faux and shaped. Deep and wide cuffs. Beautifully shaped back.

Measurements: 19 1/2” underarm to underarm, 17 1/2” shoulders, 23” sleeves, 29” long from neck to hem

Condition: freshly laundered. There is a dark mark across the back of the right shoulder as shown and a small mark in the upper right front as shown. Someone has made a button hole by hand: it’s quite unfinished and rough as is often the case when adjustments are made for the stage.
