Antique French Child’s Theatre Costume Breeches Renaissance style Slash Puff Cotton Worn Wrecked

19th century made French costume breeches. Mushroom coloured gauzy cotton with slash and puff mimics Renaissance style.  made from red cotton and trimmed with silver metal ribbon trim. Lined in brown cotton. Lovely hand written label. Bone button fly. Hand stitched. Cinch back with a simple tie.

measurements: 23” waist, 10” rise, 13” inside leg, 21” outside leg

Condition: freshly laundered with cool water and a gentle detergent. These are really wrecked! Many holes and rips with some of the fabric just hanging off. Lining is all intact without any holes. Please inspect the photos and ask any questions you may have.
