Antique French Indigo Linen Biaude Famers Smock

Beautiful late 19th century - early 1900s French indigo linen biaude. Worn traditionally by famers over their clothing as a best piece. Skilfully crated. Top stitching and mother of pearl buttons. 

Measurments: 29” underarm to underarm, 24” shoulders, 18” sleeves, 40” long

Condition: freshly laundered. There are some small hones and stitched repairs as shown. The cuffs are worn with some stitches which have come undone at the seams. There is a larger hole at the back of the right arm which could do with a patch.
