Antique French Opera Costume Tunic Gilet Wool Apricot Brown Silk Velvet Trim Medieval Renaissance

Early 1900s French opera costume. Apricot brown wool gilet with silk velvet trim and shaped sleeves. Lined in a glazed cotton. Metal buttons. Costumier stamp in the lining.

Measures: 21 1/2” underarm to underarm, 17” across the shoulders, 28 1/3” long in the body 

Condition: freshly laundered. A very small holes in the wool. Some of the silk velvet trim on the sleeve is a little worn and shredded.
