Antique French Opera Costume Tunic Green Silk Velvet Scalloped Hem Early 1900s

Very lovely early 1900s French opera costume tunic. Green silk velvet with scalloped hem. Hook and eye closure up the back. Lined in cotton. Costumier stamp in the linen for Aristide Boyer, Marseille. There are small disc shaped weights which have been inserted into the hem. 

Measures: 19” underarm to underarm, 14” across the shoulders, 21 1/2” sleeves, 8 3/4” from shoulder to underarm, 31” long from top of shoulder to hem. 

Great condition overall. Some small marks on the velvet pile but nothing major. Freshly laundered.
