Antique French Opera Costume Tunic Top Toffee Brown Wool Medieval Renaissance Style

Antique early 1900s French opera costume. This is a really great tunic top made of a brown toffee shade is soft wool. Lined in a cotton twill. Cut out shaped sleeves with gold metal ribbon trim. Buttons up the back. Burgundy and gold metal ribbon trim around the hem. Appears to be all hand stitched. 

A delightful and wearable treasure. 

Measures: 18” underarm to underarm, 16” across the waist, 15” across the shoulders, 21 1/2” shoulder to hem

Condition: Freshly laundered. ‘Tis a hole on the lower left front. The silk trim on the lower lining panel is shredded. The sleeve needs stitching back at the seam. The arm holes need some stitches to finish and close the seams: I  think this had sleeves at some point and they’ve been removed.
