Antique early 1900s French Opera Costume breeches. Red velvet with gold metal trim. Cinch back buckle. Opera costumier ink stamps inside. The velvet is lustrous and rich.

Measurements: 14” across the waist, 10” rise, 30” outside leg.

Great condition overall. Freshly laundered. A stitched repair on the front at the crotch area. One hole in the velvet on the button section which is underneath the flap and so doesn’t show when fastens. Some stress and stitch repairs to the seams where the fastenings are at the knees. A very few small darker marks but hardly notice at all.
