Antique French Opera Tunic Faux Fur Brown Silver Metal Studs Scalloped Hem

Early 1910s -20s French opera costume. Very dark faux fur fabric with silver metal stud buttons with ring back attachments. Lined in cotton. scalloped hem. Fasten up the back with buttons. Appears to be all stitched by hand. There are metal hooks remaining on the shoulders from when something else (perhaps a cape) was attached. A true wearable treasure. 

Measurments: 19 1/2” underarm to underarm, and 14 3/4” across the shoulders, 24” long in the body.

Condition: freshly laundered. Some of the metal studs have rusted. One of the studs has caught at some point and ripped the fabric underneath: this could be stitched to repair.
