Antique French Quilted Skirt Provence Provençal Purple Mauve Early 1900s

Early 1900s French quilted skirt. Traditional clothing piece from Provence. Very lovely design of checked patches surrounded by small white blossoms. Set against a rose pink/mauve base shade. Ties to fasten at the waist with a little opening just below. Double sided with an alternative purple speckled side.

This is quilted and a medium thickness. It holds it shape nicely and is warm for autumn/ winter months. 

Measures: 26” waist when waist string ties are fully closed but you can wear slightly more open if you don’t mind a gap.  32” long.

Really great condition without flaws to note. Just very light wear here and there.
