Antique French Red Cotton Sateen Trousers Gold metal ribbon Trim Button Fly Theatre Costume

Antique French c.1910s red trousers. Fine smoothly woven cotton with plain cotton lining. Made for theatre costume with the original stamps inside. Gold metal ribbon trim. Ankles fasten with a metal hook and eye and a lovey small matte gold round button. Beautifully crafted. Costumier stamps inside.

Size: they sit lower than the waist and have buttons for suspenders/braces.

Measures: 19 3/4”across the waist when laid flat but they tie in a bit at the back with the cinch ribbon to about 18” across. 12” rise, 37” outside leg

Great condition overall. Freshly laundered. Just one repair area at the base of the fly opening, a missing button at the back and a darned repair on the back of the right leg.
