Antique French Theatre Costume Military Jacket Hussar Green Wool Chevron Sleeves

Antique French military style jacket. Made for theatre during the early 1900s. Green wool main body with red wool collar and cuffs. White ribbon braiding trim including chevron sleeves.  Domed metal buttons. Fastens up the front with metal hook and eyes. Made by J. Faucheux Costumier, Angers. Various identification stamps in the lining. 

Measurements: 19” underarm to underarm (38” chest), 16” shoulders, 24” sleeves, 22” long in the body.

Condition: this has been laundered and steamed. There are a few moth holes here and there. There is a rip in the wool fabric on the right sleeves, near the underarm. All the fabric is there so you could have it darned nicely.
