Antique French Theatre Costume Trousers Breeches Pants 18th Century Style White Blue Cotton Silk Opera

Antique 19th century made French theatre costume breeches. Wonderful off-white cotton with baby blue silk ribbon trim and covered buttons. Fully lined in a brown twill cotton. Button fly. Hand stitched. 

A beautiful treasure to wear, inspire and display.

Measurements: 28” waist maximum, 10 1/4”  rise, 14 1/2” inside leg, 24”  outside leg, 32” hips

Condition: these have been laundered with cool water and a gentle detergent and then steamed. They have a general slight grubbiness from age and wear. The blue silk is shredded and damage in a many places. Small rust like marks here and there. Two covered decorative buttons missing on the top right leg. Lining has a few holes.
