Antique French Theatre Costume Tunic Renaissance Style Colourful Stripe Panels

Antique French theatre costume. Renaissance style tunic. Charcoal great cotton body with blue, pink and yellow stripe cotton panels on the sleeves and skirt sections. Sleeves are black cotton. Trimmed with gold metal ribbon. 19th century brass buttons. Cotton lined. Hand sewn.

A wonderful treasure to wear and display. 

Measures: 21 1/2 inches underarm to underarm, 17 1/2 inches across the shoulders, 17 and three-quarter inches across the waist, 22 inch sleeves, 37 1/2 inches long.

Condition: Freshly laundered with cool water and a gentle detergent. There are some pink stains mainly on the sleeves. There were also some other rust like marks as shown.
