Antique French Theatre Costume Yellow Trousers Pants Blue Green Trim Silk Silver Métal Thread Bone Buttons

C.1910s French theatre costume trouser. Yellow smoothly woven cotton fabric lined with more durable natural cotton. Costumier stamps in the lin g for Aristide Boyer, Marseille. Trimmed with blue panels with green and silver metal thread ribbons. Bone buttons around the waist. Metal buttons on the fly marked ‘Mode de Paris.’ Metal hook and eyes fasten the ankles.

Measures: 35” - 39” waist due to cinch tab, 14” rise, 22” inside leg

Great condition overall. Freshly laundered. There is some very light stain marks across the front and back right near the waist: barely noticeable.
