1930s Transylvanian Folk Blouse Zig Zag Cutout Traditional Romanian Linen Eastern European

C1930s Transylvanian folk blouse. Acquired from my travels in the Carpathian Mountains. 

Homespun linen. A really lovely zig zag details down the front. White glass buttons. Trapeze shape with balloon sleeves. A really wonderful example of this style of traditional men’s folk blouse which would have been worn with wide cropped linen trousers. 

Measures: 26” underarm to underarm, 9”  from shoulder to underarm, 24 1/2” sleeves, 19 1/2” across the shoulders, 24 1/2” long in the body, 14 1/2” collar

Great condition. Freshly laundered. light natural wear and small bobble imperfections in the weave. A small blue mark on the sleeve as shown. One missing button on the cuff as shown.
