Antique French Opera Costume Tunic Renaissance Blue Studded Salmon Cotton Theatre Worn

Early 1900s French tunic made for opera costume. Blue cotton twill with silver metal studs. Salmon pink central panels in a soft cotton. Lined in grey cotton. Fastens with metal hook and eyes and buttons. Gauzy trim around the neck and cuffs. Hand stitched. 

A true treasure which remains very wearable.

Small size

Measures: 17 1/2” underarm to underarm 16” shoulders, 8” arm opening from shoulder to underarm, 22”  sleeves including the ruffle cuff, 17” from shoulder to waist seam, 33”  full length from shoulder to hem. 15” across the waist

Condition: Freshly laundered. This has lots of blue colour run and scattered rust stains. Structurally sound. Please inspect the photos and ask any question you may have.
