Antique French Opera Costume Jacket Sand Blue Stripe Cotton Sleeves Ribbon Trim Medieval Renaissance Metal Buttons

Early 1900s French opera costume jacket. Sandy yellow shade for the body with blue, red, yellow, white and black stripe cotton sleeves. Embossed metal buttons with ring backs. Lined in cotton with costumier stamp for Aristide Boyer, Marseille. 

A wonderful and wearable treasure.

Measures: 19” underarm to underarm, 18” shoulders, 8 1/2” arm opening from shoulder to underarm, 20 1/2” sleeves, 25 1/2”  long from top of the shoulder to hem.

Great condition overall. Freshly laundered. Some light pink staining near the underarms and across the back: doesn’t hardly notice. Bobbling to the fabric surface in the body.
