1910s - 20s French Theatre Opera Costume Tunic Dress Renaissance Style Peach Silk Pattern Fold Metal Ribbon Trim Antique

Antique 1910s - 20s French costume tunic. Made in the renaissance style for opera or theatre costume. Such a wonderful and interesting pattern in muted tones of orange blue, pink with black and white. Panels of peach silk ont he front, sleeves and skirt section. Gold metal ribbon trim. Fully lined. Buttons up the back. The cuffs fasten with a metal hood and eye.

Measures: 36 inch chest, 17 1/2 inch shoulders 24 1/2 inch sleeves, 38 inches long from neck to hem.

Condition: overall great. Freshly laundeee by hand using cold water and a gentle detergent. There are rips and fraying on the bottom hem. There are some tears on the silk at the waist area as shown. There are buttons missing on the lower back section. Some light marks and stains on the sleeves. There is a mark on the top left of the neck area and a small hole on the right side.
