1920s French Theatre Opera Costume Jacket Oriental Style Wide Sleeves Gold Metal Ribbon Trim Yellow Blue

Wonderful c.1910s -20s French Theyatw costume jacket. Oriental style with large wide bell sleeves. Yellow cotton with blue silk revere collar. Gold metal woven ribbon trim. Oriental style colour popping motifs in frames square panels on the front and back. There is a tab strip which fasten across the front with a heavy duty metal hook and eye.

A very wearable and great treasure from the south of France costumier Aristide Boyer.

Measurements: 26 1/2” underarm to underarm, 20” shoulders, 28” sleeves, 39 1/2” long from shoulder to hem.

Condition: freshly laundered by hand with dollop water and gentle detergent. This has some stains as shown. Please inspect the photos in close up and als any questions you have. Some very light and small scuffs to the blue silk collar.
