1920s Slovakian Sheepskin Folk Jacket Tooled Leather Cream Red Green Crafted

c.1920s Slovakian sheepskin folk jacket. An incredible hand crafted piece of wearable folk art. Creamy white sheepskin with full hair interior lining. Colour popping red and green leather work. Zigzag stitch detail across the shoulders and cuffs. There are also two vertical twisted strands of ochre yellow and pinky red leatherwork up the front. Toggle closure.

Size: because of the very sick hair lining, you would need to be smaller than the measurements given. Best fits up to a UK 12/ 8.

Measures: 20 inches under under under arm, 18 inches across the shoulders, 23 inches from shoulder to hem 22 inch sleeves.

Condition: overall great condition. Lots of darker, discolouration and grubbiness to the cream sheepskin. This has not been laundered. You would need to seek advice from a professional cleaning service. If you were considering getting this done. It is very wearable how it is, however but you would need to enjoy it as is. The bottom toggle closure loop has a piece of the red string broken.
