1930s Hungarian Croatian Linen Folk Blouse Black Stripes Big Sleeves Cropped Eastern European traditional clothing

Exceptional c.1930s linen folk blouse from the Hungarian/Croatian border area. White linen with woven textured stripe panel sleeves. Grey embroidery around the neck. Black densely embroidered cuffs. Cropped style which would have traditionally been covered with a top layer, leaving just the huge sleeves on show.

A beautiful and collectable piece of folk clothing.

Size: fits up to about a UK 12 /US 8

Measures: approx 19" underarm to underarm, 14” long in the body so just sits on top of the chest, sleeves approximately 28” long (no shoulder seams to measure from).
