Antique French Green Cotton High Waisted Trousers Pants Long Rise Opera Costume Rare

Amazing c.1900 green trousers made for French opera. The fabric on these feel like a cotton moleskin. Really nice patina and sun fade. Inner button panel. Cinch back metal buckle. No pockets. Hems are lined/banded 1 1/2” and the waist area is also lined in cotton.

I’ve never seen a pair of trousers quite like these. Such beautiful fabric with a nice durable thickness to it.

Measure: 36” - 38” waist, 20” rise, 23” inside leg

Condition: freshly laundered. These have some stains across the front right side. There is a green stitched repair on the right knee area. Sun fade.
