Antique French Peach Wool Breeches Pants Trousers Opera Costume Theatre Cropped

Great pair is c.1910s peach wool breaches made for French opera costume. Linen lined. Fasten at both sides with metal hook and eyes.

Measurements: 32” waist, 14 1/2” rise, 16” inseam 7” across the leg cuff

Condition: freshly laundered. These have quite a few moth nibbles and some holes as shown. The waist has been taken in 1 1/2” on each side. This is just simply sewn with cotton as I often find in costume pieces adapted for each wearer. You could cut the threads and they would be 3” wider at the waist.
