Antique French Theatre Costume Jacket Tunic Blue Red Stripe Sleeves Renaissance Style Early 1900s

Early 1900s French theatre costume jacket. Renaissance style. Blue cotton with red and blue striped sleeves. 19th century embossed, ring back metal buttons. Yellow and blue braided trim. Lined in grey cotton. Costumier stamp in the lining, along with the handwritten actor or character names. Apprars to be all hand stitched:

Measures: 20 1/2” underarm to underarm, 20” across the shoulders, 8 1/2” arm opening from top of shoulder to underarm, 23” sleeves, 27” long from top of shoulder to hem.
