Antique late 19th French Provençal Skirt Traditional Red White Stripes Cotton Drill

Late 19th century French Provençal skirt. Red and white striped cotton drill. The cotton is thick and durable and it holds it form well when worn. Drawstring waist which ties at the front with a small opening. Gathered pleats hang at the back and make it very full.

Part of traditional clothing from the Provence area of southern France.

Measurements: 22” - 32” waist die to drawstring, 30 1/2” long (2 1/4” hem if you need to lengthen)

Great condition overall. Some light surface wear with small pulls in some threads. A very few light rust marks which barely notice.
