Antique Red Boots French Theatre Fabric Leather Renaissance Style Antique

Amazing pair of red boots! Made early 1900s for French theatre. They are Renaissance style with a long curled and pointy toe. Cotton fabric uppers and leather soles.

Great for display or gentle wear.

Measurements: 11 1/4” long from heel to toe, 3 3/4” wide across the wisest part of the toe.

I am a uk women’s size 6 or a EU 39 and I tried these. From this I estimate that they are roughly a UK 8 or EU 41 but please check the measurements either against your own shoes or a sizing chart online. Or both is even better.

Condition is great overall. I’ve shown a piece of leather which needs glueing down on the tip of the toe. The sole has a thin leather layer to cover and this is worn away in some areas at the edges which exposes the stitching: it’s just slight really. There are very slight marks here and there on the red cotton. Nothing very noticeable.
