Early 1900s French Costume Renaissance Style Opera Knight Medieval Theatre Tunic

Early 1900s French tunic costume. Renaissance style, made for opera. Purple and grey cotton panels with gold metal ribbon appliqué down the centre and edges and gold and red ribbon appliqué diagonally across. Called sleeves with pink edging. Buttons up the back.

Measures: 36” chest (18” underarm to underarm), 32” waist (16” across), 15 1/2” shoulders, 23” sleeves, 31” long in the body from top of the shoulder to hem.

Condition: freshly laundered. There are a few areas with small stains. The upper front has a rust like mark on the grey area. There is pink colour run in a few areas. There is one button missing at the back.
